Platters is a word describing a ‘large dish or plate’. Usually a one off piece made for special occasions. They are often bought as presents. The photos here represent my current style, mostly but not always based on repeating patterns found in nature or the environment. I am always open to individual requests . . . For example,  text on the base …..particular colours. They are mostly seen as a one off piece or are OK to be used for fruit or salad.

Kiln: High fired stoneware
Surface: Underglaze ceramic colours, painted, sponged, scratched, also using latex resist. Spray glazed with a matt/satin transparent glaze.
